GCS Ground connect server
Ground connect appliance complemantary to team2tech5G/4G/WIFI/LAN/SATCOM routers
The GCS GROUND CONNECT SERVER is a complementary ground-based routing appliance to all team2 Routers, like the MLX100, NGR-Series and VRX-Series.
The GCS enable the complementary team2 routers to connect to end-customers network infrastructure and telephony services.
The GCS Servers are based on market-available high-end servers. The GCS hardware is hosting one or more VM’s which contain customized LINUX-based environments.
The GCS Servers may also host additional Server applications for Monitoring, VoIP-Server and much more.
Core functionality is a software-based Multi-WAN enabled Router with integrated firewall, VPN-connector and built-in load balancer.
The complementary NGR Routers provide 5G/4G cell-network WAN interfaces with 2G fallback and Mesh-enabled WLAN radios amongst VoLTE, 5G telephony and VoIP audio telephony services. All data-services are protected by state-of-the-art VPN encryption which are terminated by the bespoke GCS Ground Connect Servers.
The team2applications NGR Routers are IT Security compliant with applicable German Federal Agency for Security in Information Technology (BSI) requirements.
As the GCS is acting as the complementary ground complement, those appliances are also compliant to stringent IT-security requirements of the German Federal Agency for Security in Information Technology (BSI) (e.g.) as follows:

- BSI TR-02102-2: Use of Transport Layer Security (TLS)
- BSI TR-02102-3: Use of Internet Protocol Security (IPsec) and Internet Key Exchange (IKEv2)

The GCS Servers are developed in Switzerland and Germany and do not utilize closed-source, third-party code.
